The show season is over and this is what called my attention. It looks like Fendi, Louis Vuitton and Dior are getting inspired by MILY MAKE UP or it is perhaps just the "zeitgeist".
Names like Peter Philips (creative director of Dior makeup) and Pat Mc Grath (head make-up artist forDior Haute Couture) brought to the catwalk different shapes, colors and textures of eyeliners.
For Fendi, Peter Philips used strips of leather glued directly on the models eyelids. And for Dior he made stick-on eyeliners in pastel colors. I haven’t had the chance to try them out so I can’t talk about their use nor their quality. But they do look sweet.
Pat Mc Grath painted lashes on the models' eyes for the Louis Vuitton show, something similar to Mily's eye flashes. The trend is really there….
I remember that a few months after the colored "les Classiques de Mily" came out a super article in Vogue.fr was published talking about these eyeliners and also highlighting how Path Mc Grath uses colored eyeliners on the catwalks.
